Mitchell River Womens Packraft
Come and experience packrafting through the wilderness of the Mitchell River National Park. This is a great trip suited to the adventurous beginner or those with some paddling experience. A trip for women only, feel supported and nurtured as we experience the beauty and serenity of the river. This is a 10km trip on Grade 1 - 2 whitewater, and adreneline and excitement abound. We stop for lunch at the historic Glenaladale weir, before continuing on downriver to the finish.
Mitchell River Gourmet Packraft Trip
Come and enjoy the wilderness of the Mitchell River National Park, by gliding down the river in a packraft. This trip is suited to the adventurous beginner or those with some paddling experience. This is a 10 kilometre paddle, with lots of rapids, adreneline, fun and a gourmet lunch along the way at the Old Weir.

As the nights stretch out, we gather at Sailors Grave for a Yule-inspired long-table feast with Paul West. Fire-cooked dishes built on East Gippsland and South Coast produce, matched with Sailors Grave beers brewed for the cold. Come hungry, share the table, and take part in a simple ritual: write down what you’re leaving behind and cast it into the fire.
Metung Winter Festival
The Winter Festival is back in Metung, celebrating the best of winter with delicious comfort food, warming drinks, live local music, and family-friendly fun on the Village Green. Harry Hook is Singing the Sun Down
Arrive early for Lakes Lights and join us at the Slipway from 5pm to sing the sun down with Harry Hook is Real. Grab some mouth-watering eats from the food shacks and gather with family and friends to enjoy the tunes while the sun sets, before the spectacular Lakes Lights lantern parade departs at 6pm. Who knows, the Sea Hags might even make a guest appearance - we hear they love a crowd, and a boogie!
