Tree Planting with Landcare – Kalimna
Are you doing the Skipper Pete’s Nature Walk? Well why not keep the nature theme going and get your hands dirty creating more biodiversity in nearby Kalimna!
Over 5 planting dates, we’ve got 5,000 native indigenous seedlings to get into the ground on properties around the area. These aren’t just trees but a mixture of species to ensure that healthy ecosystems are established with biodiversity at the forefront of mind.
So … can you help??? Just spare an hour or two and help us get these plants started. Wear sturdy shoes, long pants, bring gardening gloves (if you have them) and dress appropriately for the weather. There’s a free BBQ lunch too!
Email Matt from the East Gippsland Landcare Network to let us know if you can make it along with any dietary requirements and Matt will reply with the address.
