The Nature of the Bluff
Over the past few years Lake Tyers Coast Action have commissioned biodiversity surveys of this local treasure. We have also been busily re-designing the interpretative signage along the walkway to highlight significant flora and fauna.
But we are not the only ones who think this is a special place. We will also be hearing from DEECA and others of studies that have been taking place in the Bluff and surrounds. Morning knowledge sharing event: 10:00 am -12:00 pm, Lake Tyers Beach Hall Followed by lunch.
Then if weather permits, a walk and talk along the pathway, introducing the new signs. The walk will start from Salmon Rd. Please bring: hats, jackets, bug spray as needed, sturdy shoes, water bottle and curiosity.Note: walk is ~2km length on an unsealed path.
