When winter falls and the light begins to fade, the Snowy Rail Bridge awakens.
For one night only, step beneath the towering timber trestle as the western end of the bridge transforms into a steampunk playground of firelight, music and glowing vintage‑industrial charm. Lanterns flicker, gears turn (at least in spirit), and the bridge itself becomes the backdrop for a night delightfully out of the ordinary.
Warm your hands and your spirits with local beer and wine, spiced hot toddies, and winter drinks with a kick. Graze on fireside snacks, wander beneath the trestles, and let eclectic tunes carry you through an evening where invention, imagination and heritage collide.
Dress up, dress halfway, or just turn up—this is a come‑as‑you‑are celebration. Goggles, top hats and velvet coats are welcome, but curiosity and a sense of fun are essential.
Shuttle buses will whisk guests from Orbost to the site, so you can relax and lean fully into the experience.
