School Holiday FREE Lantern Making Workshops

Join us at the Slipway in Lakes Entrance during the first week of school holidays for FREE lantern making workshops each day from 9:30am – 12:30pm.

Come along and by guided by experienced lantern makers to make your very own lantern to carry in the LAKES LIGHTS lantern parade on Saturday 12 July! Become part of the spectacle rather than just a spectator.

• No bookings required – just turn up!
• No experience needed
• Lantern making materials provided
• All ages welcome – children to be accompanied / supervised by an adult.

The workshops are FREE thanks to support from all of the 2025 East Gippsland Winter Festival sponsors listed HERE, however cash donations are welcome.

**Lights to light up your lantern will be available to purchase at the FLOAT shop next door.**

We encourage you to grab a coffee from the Gippsland Jersey shop and stick around for some lunch afterwards from The Minotaur food shack or one of the food trucks popping up over the holidays!
