Rustic Rug Weaving Workshop

Skills covered will include:
* General weaving terminology
* Direct Warping (for a rigid heddle loom)
* Weaving Plainweave (Tabby)
* Posture & tips for avoiding strain
* Advancing the warp & getting the right tension

We will be using a 100% wool yarn and have an option of 100% wool tops or a mixed ‘montage’ tops that includes wool, alpaca & silk. If you are unable to use any of these natural fibres please contact us to discuss alternative options.
Suitable for ages 10+ (under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult).
