Walk, Clean Up & Create = Project Interrupt

4 days of Regen Gippsland / FLOAT / PROJECT INTERRUPT’s Cleanup & Create. A hands-on adventure that activates next gen adventurers to love our local environment by collecting rubbish and transforming it into useful art + music.

Monday 6th July
10am to 3pm

‘Imagine’ film screening at GLaWAC in Kalimna with Jack Manning-Bancroft
from AIME, who will lead an imagination design session afterwards to get us in
the right mindset for the following days (Open to all).

Tuesday 7th July
10am to 4pm

Walk + Imagine + Create

a walk with youth, artists + marine debris experts
(scuba divers). Walk from the Slipway Sheds in Lakes Entrance to Bullock Island and back.

 walk our tracks + think about this place.
 imagine more creative trails + art + music + stories
 learn about the crab net + cable tie problems with scuba divers Hugh + Jeremy
 make art and music installations out of rubbish with local artists Nele & Sasha and Project Interrupt’s Samuel McLennan.

Wednesday 8th July
10am to 4pm

Youth-led co-design workshop.
To imagine and prototype solutions for our future trail that includes First
Nations wisdom + nature + imagination + collaboration

Thursday 9th July
10am to 4pm

An extra workshop day for those kids who want to dig a little deeper and keep
creating stuff with artist + tech support.
