Pottery Pitfire Workshop

Pottree Hill is excited to hold a special event over 2 separate days. Christine Bouma owner and creator of Pottree Hill will be your instructor.
Session one :-A Pottery workshop designed to help people create robust work suitable for a pitfire . Coiling methods and slab work using stoneware clay. Also going to give people the opportunity to use local wild clay. This will be held at ICEWORKS in Lakes Entrance .
Session two:- An afternoon at Pottree Hill where the Pitfiring will be held. Learn how to decorate pottery with alternative methods to promote colour flashing while in the fire . Help manage the firing of the pottery by stoking the pit.
