ON FOOT through the Gorge, Glenaladale
Start your day by meeting at the farm gate and walking to the gorge. There you’ll plant indigenous seedlings to help to rehabilitate remnant bushland. Take the opportunity to capture the moment with some nature photography. We’ll then venture into the gorge for morning tea and wander through the paddocks where local environmental expert will speak to threatened species, flora and fauna and provide a multi-generational history of the farm. Then we’ll fully immerse ourselves in the gorge through a sensory forest therapy walk, slowing down to appreciate our natural surroundings. Then we’ll drop into a deep listening, sound meditation embracing instruments and natural sounds. We will then finish up with a shared lunch.
The event is for participants over 12yrs and requires a medium level of fitness due to some steep and uneven paths.
