ON FOOT Ocean Entrance Guided Nature Walk
Local sustainability leaderĀ Beth RipperĀ and other local Landcare folk will host a small group of bushwalkers on a 3 km walk from the Lakes Entrance Footbridge to the Ocean Entrance. Along the way, your hosts will share their environmental knowledge and encourage observation and discussion of the local biodiversity- including Fur-Seals, Dolphins, flora, (including invasive species) birdlife and other native fauna.
The walk is 3km from the Footbridge to the Ocean Entrance and takes about 2 hours with sandy tracks and some steps. Participants can return to the starting point at their leisure or stay a little longer at the Ocean Entrance if they wish. Walkers need good health / mobility and suitable clothing.
Booking essential. Maximum 15 participants. Subject to suitable weather.
*Please note this walk was originally to be led by Skipper Pete – but we’ve had to make a change. But Beth Ripper is totally up for the nature-loving challenge.
If anyone who has booked prefers to get a refund – please let us know and we’ll arrange that straight away.
