“End of an Era” – Wine Tasting of early East Gippsland Wines

A journey into the evolution of styles and varieties in a frontier wine area of Victoria, with an accompanying explanation by winemaker and owner, Ken Eckersley.

Starting with the 1985 Chardonnay, a 1996 Chardonnay Magnum, Pinot Noirs from 1988, 92, 93, a 1994 Barrel fermented Riesling, 1990 Cabernet blend and so on.

A relaxing and informative afternoon for anyone interested in Wine and Gippsland Wine in particular. It is being held in the Barrel Room of Nicholson River Winery.
