Nicholson River Trestle Bridge Long Table Lunch
With spectacular views up and down the Nicholson River, 120 guests will enjoy a Long Table Lunch on the Nicholson River Trestle Bridge (the East Gippsland Rail Trail Bridge) – a collaboration between The Local Metung and the Nicholson General Store, created especially for the East Gippsland Winter Festival.
Park at the Nicholson Hotel (or Nicholson Boat Ramp) and meander up the walking trail beside the Nicholson River and be greeted with a welcome drink and canapes on arrival, straight out of The Local’s mobile catering truck with its own wood-fired oven.
Relax, mingle and enjoy acoustic tunes by local musician Bonnie Edwards. Grab another drink from the pop-up bar before taking your seat at the Long Table.
