Nicholson River Trestle Bridge Long Lunch
Enjoy a unique dining experience in the most picturesque of locations – a Long Table Lunch on the Nicholson River Trestle Bridge. A special collaboration between Albert & Co, The Long Paddock, and the Nicholson General Store – especially for the East Gippsland Winter Festival. Celebrating local food, wine and craft beer, guests will enjoy lunch and live music while perched 50 metres above the Nicholson River with spectacular views up and down the river.
Enjoy a welcome drink and starter on arrival, followed by a main meal and dessert seated upon the old Railway Bridge. Menu coming soon – ingredients will be sourced from Gippsland producers.
Additional drinks available to purchase from the bar with a selection of local wines and beer available, plus cocktails using locally distilled spirits.

Starters by Nicholson General Store:
Variety of homemade petit pies and pasties.
Main by Albert & Co, Lakes Entrance:
Slow cooked Gippsland beef cheek with creamed mash.
White fish, Gippsland labneh, chickpeas, cucumber, herbs.
Bulmer Farms broccolini, hazelnuts, basil oil, Maffra brie, lemon zest.
Mixed leaves, herbs, Picnic Point Farm raspberry vinaigrette.
Dessert by The Long Paddock, Lindenow:
Picnic Point Farm apple crumble Paris Brest, with black fig caramel
Tickets will include the option to book a Table – either a High Bar Table of 5 tickets (middle section of the bridge) or a Table of 8.
If you wish to book single tickets and would like to sit with friends (who are purchasing tickets separately), please add a note in the Comments section of your ticket order. We will try our best to accommodate seating requests, however please note that seating with or close to friends cannot be guaranteed if on separate orders.
