Join Kirsten and Tony as they demonstrate this age-old process and introduce you to the equipment and skills required to get started baking at home.
With a Nutrition degree from Deakin University and over a decade’s experience teaching nutrition and home economics in schools, Kirsten has a wealth of knowledge to share. Baking sourdough bread has been a natural response for Kirsten to the challenge of living a healthy life with an autoimmune disease.
Tony has taken over the twice weekly baking of sourdough bread for the family and will add his gems to the weekend.
The workshop includes:
• Fresh bread to taste on arrival
• Comprehensive notes and recipe
• Sourdough starter culture
• Fully cooked loaf to take home
• Light lunch
• Optional meditation/tour of garden
