Live and Local Music at the Metung Hotel

Join us for a ‘Live and Local’ Sunday session from 2:00pm – 6:00pm at the Metung Hotel with two East Gippsland bands!

Featuring:
“Short Long Way” A three piece outfit from Metung and Nungurner playing fast paced original music. Performing a range of genre’s from Surf, Punk to Oz rock and Burlesque influenced by artists such as Lou Reed, Tom Waits, Neil Young, Velvet Underground and The Clash.

“Lonely Bay Lights” A five piece outfit from Buchan, Nowa Nowa and Nungurner. Playing a range of originals and covers from Soul and Funk to Ballads and Rock and Roll. Influenced by Tom Petty, Ricky Lee Jones, Warren Zevon, The Pretenders, INXS and many more. Get ya dance shoes on!!!

Staying with the aquatic theme of the bands and local place names, the Metung Hotel is the perfect spot to enjoy live music overlooking the beautiful Gippsland Lakes in Metung. Whether its ballads to sooth you, soul tunes to move you, or funk songs to groove you, this afternoon has something for everyone.
