Lantern Making Workshop at Echo Bend Camping Park
Winter is here. Which makes it an ideal time to grab your thermals and get out and about being active. You don’t need to travel too far (40 mins from Bairnsdale on the Lindenow-Dargo Road) to find Echo Bend Camping Park, a place where winter can still be enjoyed. There is still so much more to see and do. The wildlife around is in abundance. Not far from the campground you will see kangaroos, wallabies, wombats and emus all in their natural habitat. Great for the kids or even keen photographers. You can enjoy a variety of bush walks. Easy access from the campground to The Mitchell River National Park. Visit Dead cock Den or sit by the river. It’s such a rewarding experience and so relaxing, to just to Stop and listen to the sounds around you. The water gushing over the rocks and all the birds chirping and fluttering. Not far from the campground you can easily access 4WD tracks to venture out for the day, or a simple drive to see the sights of Dargo.
On Saturday, July 5th from 11am-2pm you can come and be creative and make some lovely lanterns. If you choose to stay the night, we have spacious powered & Unpowered sites. You can enjoy the evening as we light up the campground for all to enjoy.
