Kiss My Art
An Outdoor Exhibition showcasing very large urban photographic works pasted up along the Nicholson Street Mall undercover walkway (old woolies site).
These surreal images were created by capturing single frame multi exposures on 35mm film while shooting live on location. By utilising old techniques from a bygone era the artist has redefined for us an old new way to interpret street art pop culture.
Man Ray and other surrealists of the early twentieth century were the true pioneers that first explored the magic of multiple exposures. They created images layered with meaning and abstract symbolism. By superimposing multiple images onto a single frame, they constructed visual narratives that transcended the confines of linear storytelling.
These layered compositions invite viewers to delve into the depths of endless brave new worlds that resist the veil of hegemonic existence.
