Howitt Park Market

This large market is under the big yellow slide on the banks of the Mitchell, just on the east side of the highway bridge. There are around 100 stalls, with indoor and outdoor plants, beautiful and unique new and up cycled clothing, individual, hand made jewellery items and all sorts of indoor and outdoor decor – woodwork, macrame, stained glass, artworks. And, of course, the bric-a-brac, books and DVDs.

Our food court has everything from hamburgers and sausages cooked by our Paynesville Coastguard to Chinese dumplings and Thai and Vietnamese cuisine, not to mention the ice-cream van and Gippsland Jersey Dairy milkshakes.

Bring the whole family – and even well behaved dogs are welcome.
