Garden to Ocean returns to Sodafish in Lakes Entrance, uniting Bodee Price — hatted chef of Brown Brothers Winery in Milawa — and Sodafish owner Nick Mahlook for an extraordinary four-course lunch with matching wines, cooked over an open floating fire.
What makes this series so compelling is the conversation it creates between two very different but equally remarkable corners of Victoria. Bodee arrives from the foothills of the King Valley, bringing with him a deep knowledge of the seasons and the finest produce from his celebrated kitchen garden. Nick answers with the incredible local bounty of the Gippsland Coast — fresh, wild, and pulled straight from the waters and lands surrounding Lakes Entrance. Together, over fire, they create something neither could produce alone.
