FAR EAST FLANEUR

FLOAT will be inviting a few of our favourite Artists in Residence to return to Far East Gippsland for the last 10 days of the East Gippsland Winter Festival. To walk and talk, make art and tell stories, while we share a cider or two and create our Far East Walking Map together.

Bert Spinks, storyteller and flaneur, will travel from the Slipway in Lakes Entrance, to Mallacoota – via all our favourite places to find the stories and hidden treasures we love the most.

Nowa Nowa Live, Nowa Nowa Gorge, Salt Organics (the best bagels!), Orbost Art Centre, Salmon Rocks, Beware Reef, Dunetown, Cape Conran, Pt Hicks and Gabo Island.

We’ll rendezvous with other artists (and EGWF events) along the way and finish up back in Lakes Entrance with a campfire soiree at Bungalook Studio on Sunday 20 July – to capture it all in words and music.
