Picnic & stroll in the heart of Lake Tyers Beach

Local volunteers will guide you through 12 acres of bush, giving the opportunity to ‘see’ what’s there. We will share basic information on plants and foliage, offer plant identification and describe features of the local bush. We show you how to see where native animals live, find insects, birds, and other creatures. Kids are given a pouch to pick up treasures and everyone has an opportunity to draw, paint or colour their collection (art materials supplied).

Enjoy the picnic you bring in a peaceful setting. Children under 16 must have an adult.

Wear sturdy shoes and park in signed area in Bream Road.
