Beers, BBQ & Beats in Laneway3875

Please note: This event is now sold out

Laneway3875 will come to life in mid-winter and be lit-up with a celebration of art, music, good food and craft beer on Saturday 18th June 2022 from 6pm.

This family-friendly laneway event will feature spectacular lighting projections, music, roving performers, mouth-watering local produce prepared over fire by some of the region’s best chefs, as well as a pop-up bar serving locally brewed beers, local wines and cocktails.

The music line-up will provide the beats, headlined by the fun-loving DJ Eddy. No stranger to mid-winter parties, the famous resident DJ at “The Genny” at Mt Hotham will be bringing an eclectic mix of hop-hop, funk, old school dance, discotheque and more. Eddy has rocked Falls, Apollo Bay, Cool Summer and Swagger Festivals as well as entertained pro surfers and their cohorts at Bells Beach Rip Curl Pro and Gold Coast Quiksilver Pro.

Surf Coast hip-hop artist Tonite is sure to impress the crowd with his story-telling rhymes and effortless flow and local teenage rapper Sammy G will showcase the talent and swagger of an emerging Aussie hip-hop artist destined for big things. DJ Bumpsonator will get the party started with old school retro classics and a splash of disco and Olivia Lay will provide chilled out acoustic tones alongside Foundry.

Enjoy culinary delights created by local eateries Northern Ground, The Bread Lab, Wood Squirrel and Paper Chase Café, plus winter warming food and bev available at Foundry. Swing by the pop-up laneway bar for a selection of East Gippsland brewed craft beers as well as local wines and cocktails on offer.

Kicking off the opening weekend of the East Gippsland Winter Festival in style, this family-friendly event also offers free entry and other fun activities for all ages, ranging from interactive art and roving performers to art exhibitions and screen printing workshops at Foundry.

Upon entry, attendees can go in the draw to win an epic East Gippsland weekend package valued at $1,420! Including scenic helicopter flights over the Gippsland Lakes with Lakes Entrance Helicopters, $200 voucher for Sodafish restaurant, massage and bathing vouchers for the high-anticipated Metung Hot Springs and a $400 accommodation voucher for Saltwater Properties.

‘Beers, BBQ & Beats in Laneway3875’ is presented by the Bairnsdale Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Seventy Event Management and the East Gippsland Winter Festival. This collaborative project was made possible thanks to the Australian Government’s Regional Arts Fund, which supports the arts in regional and remote Australia.
