A Postcard from Lakes Entrance

A Postcard From Lakes Entrance is an interactive workshop where you will use watercolours to explore your inner artist! In this workshop you will paint your Winter Festival memories onto a postcard and then post it to yourself. A fun way to create memories! Enjoy a glass of bubbly and delicious nibbles provided by Pickler In The Woods!

Join us at the Slipway Sheds – on the deck or inside these historic sheds in the heart of the Lakes Entrance fishing fleet.

> The Slipway Sheds, an enigmatic pair of long-abandoned boat sheds in the heart of Lakes Entrance, emerged as a unique community enterprise opportunity in 2019. We’ve been working on the idea ever since.

Sam Mahlook, local seafood diva, Sallie Jones, co-founder of Gippsland Jersey, Gab Moore of Sailor’s Grave Brewing — the artisan brewery that’s flipped the Orbost story with their locally foraged, brewed and curated beers, and then FLOAT, the floating arts residency on Lake Tyers, attracting artists from around the globe – collaborated to build their collective home here in January 2024.
