Nyerimilang Heritage Park set on a cliff top with 168 hectares, with its variety of hiking tracks, stunning views, historical homestead,

Historically valuable Pioneer Section, where our knowledgeable team of volunteers demonstrate skills of the past, including HORSE WORKS with Clydesdale Horses, resident Black Smith working at his forge, when available weavers and spinners, explanations about the historical farm equipment.  Open a door to the past and come inside the Pioneer cottage, or step inside the Shearing Shed, view the washing machines over the decades.

Together with live music, and sausage sizzle.

Then walk up to the Homestead and after you have looked inside the rooms, enjoy Devonshire tea at a reasonable cost, and do not forget to try and get into the History talk about the original owners the Stuarts, find out the connection between Marvellous Melbourne and Nyerimilang.

Take the ‘95 step Challenge’ down to the Jetty weather permitting, take a selfie at the bottom as proof that you did do this,  bring it back to the Gift Shop at the Gate House and be presented with a Certificate of meeting the challenge.

With breathtaking views, bird  and wild life, historically valuable Pioneer Section, or the gracious  homestead owned by the Stuarts, who enriched our local history via the connection to Melbourne. Where tycoons of industry , politicians came to enjoy a ‘Weekend in the Country’ fishing, enjoying wholesome country food, and soaking up the atmosphere. Where dreams sometimes became reality, and failed ones were soon forgotten.

Nyerimilang Heritage Park which draws thousands of people to it every year and has become one of East Gippsland most valuable assets.
