Regional Victoria's most exciting Winter Festival is set to return in 2026. Save the dates and start locking in your crew for a magical winter getaway in Victoria's far east.
Experience HOW WE WINTER in East Gippsland as the region comes alive in a month-long festival of light, food, music, art and culture - right across the East Gippsland Shire!
Incorporating Winter Solstice and the Winter School Holidays, the sixth annual EGWF will present one of the largest winter festival programs anywhere in Australia, offering something for all ages and a memorable winter getaway with family and friends.
Expect epic winter feasts, stunning hand-made lanterns, spectacular projection art, vibrant street parties, electric live performances and a series of nature-based activities, workshops, wellness experiences and more.
Will you eat, drink and party? Or is a nature-based adventure on the cards? Or perhaps you can just unwind with a rejuvenating wellness experience followed by a floating sauna or a soak in the hot springs? With dozens of unique events and experiences set to hit the 2026 Festival Program, you can choose your own adventure.
